USGS reported that the 7.8-magnitude earthquake’s epicentre was 24.1 kilometres (14.9 miles) beneath the surface. And 23 kilometres (14.2 miles) east of Nurdagi in Türkiye’s Gaziantep region.
According to the latest report of WHO,the death toll in neighbouring Syria is 1444. And at least 2921 people have died in Türkiye. However, the WHO predicts the number to exceed 20,000.
